"There is no better than adversity. Every defeat, every heartbreak, every loss, contains its own seed, its own lesson on how to improve your performance the next time." - Malcom X Kai is a working film and theatre professional. He started his journey in the arts in music, having sung with choirs touring across eastern Canada he began being involved with many musicals and plays, and is exploring more film in recent years. Be it acting, directing or editing, Kai is pursuing a career in the entertainment industry, with a burning passion to continue explore story telling through all forms of media. Life is a learning curve and so is the craft. Previously, Kai studied theatre and music at Providence College, as well as at the Academy of Acting, where he appeared in "The Importance of Being Earnest" under Jeff Erbach. Also a graduate of Toronto Film School, Kai continues to learn and grow every step of the way. Kai now has his own international production company, GRINNING TEDDY PRODUCTIONS. The focus of this company is on story telling through different types of narratives, music videos and quirky commercials. Special thanks is to be given to a great man who was a major influence, not only in Kai Jolley's professional career but was as family in his personal life, Henry Schellenberg (Feb. 20th. 2013).
