Phil Maguire is a composer, improviser and sound artist from the UK. Working with computers, synthesisers, tape equipment, Maguire produces music and sound works that explores emptiness and malfunction, of self and of machine.
Works by Maguire have been released on labels including Dinzu Artefacts, Resonus Classics, Confront Recordings, falt, and Soft Error. He also collaborates in projects with musicians including Anne La Berge, Phil Durrant, James L. Malone, John Macedo, and Eleanor Cully.
