The Sampler is free — always has been and always will be.
Donate to The Sampler now, and keep supporting the new and experimental music scene – the artists, venues, organisations, technicians who make it all happen, through ensuring we can cover our operational costs and commisioning cutting edge editorial.
Like everything else, The Sampler has operational costs we cannot reduce: web hosting, developing the platform to improve useability and access, commissioning costs, and staff time to curate newsletters and moderate events. These costs come to about £5,000 a year.
Any donation amount, however small, makes a huge difference. If you are in a position to help us, we would hugely appreciate any donation you are able to make.
If you are not able to donate at this stage, there are other ways you can help us which will equally make a difference – if you’re an organisation, you can share our donation campaign on a newsletter, with your staff, or on your socials. If you’re an individual, you can share with people or organisations you think may be in a position to help us. If you’re an artist, you can donate a proportion of an event you’ve listed on The Sampler to our campaign. Sharing our Donation appeal on socials will make it twice as likely for people to donate.
