Beatrice Dillon

We welcome one of the true innovators of contemporary electronic music, Beatrice Dillon, to perform a set of all-new material on d&b audiotechnik’s immersive Soundscape system.

Dillon’s 2020 debut, the polyrhythmic odyssey Workaround, depicted an artist entirely in her own lane, and won plaudits including No. 1 album of the year in The Wire as well as a 5-star Guardian review. Don’t miss the opportunity to hear what this ceaselessly inventive artist has been working on since.

Beatrice Dillon is a London-based artist and musician, using electronic sound within performance, multi-channel installation and recorded material. She has collaborated with a range of artists including Laurel Halo, Kuljit Bhamra and Lucy Railton releasing solo and collaborative music on leading international electronic music labels.

In 2022 she presented multi-channel sound installations Impossible Ideal Angle [Haus der Kunst, Munich] and AFOAM [Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, Porto].

Seven Reorganisations,* her first entirely acoustic work explored acoustic reimaginings of digital synthesis and generative processes and was commissioned for leading experimental classical group Explore Ensemble, premiering at Sheffield Cathedral (2022) and Kings Place (2023). *Originally commissioned by by Mark Fell for No Bounds.
