Aurora Orchestra explores the vibrant world of birdsong with groundbreaking pianist Pierre-Laurent Aimard in an adventurous programme of iconic works by Messiaen, Ligeti, Brett Dean, and Beethoven. Part of Aurora’s pioneering Orchestral Theatre series at Southbank Centre, this multisensory concert interweaves live performance with vivid animation, audio storytelling, birdsong recordings, theatrical lighting and a surprise installation.
