Concert of music for classical ukulele
This lunchtime recital will feature three substantial new works for solo ukulele by Samantha Muir (2 works) and Loretta K. Notareschi. These will be interspersed with arrangements of music for lute and baroque guitar. This marks the beginnings of a project in which composers will be encouraged to write for the ukulele – a CD will follow.
