Create: Tales for Tots

AN INTERACTIVE WORKSHOP DESIGNED TO INTRODUCE YOUNG CHILDREN TO SOME OF THE MOST POPULAR STORIES AROUND. IT’S THE PERFECT WAY TO FIRE YOUR CHILD’S IMAGINATION, SPARK A LOVE OF READING AND ENCOURAGE THEIR CREATIVITY.

Join our brand new group for the younger members of the family. Take part in an interactive morning of storytelling, music, drama and craft with our experienced and friendly workshop leader Jackie Harrison.

Each month will feature a different and much-loved story, brought to life using music, drama, craft and movement. Based in the Weston Studio we’ll also visit the fantastic gallery spaces to discover the exhibitions and take inspiration from their themes.

  • 24th September – we’ll be bringing to life the popular story “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt” by Michael Rosen
  • 29th October – we’ll be setting out the china for “The Tiger Who Came to Tea” by Judith Kerr
  • 26th November – we’ll be strutting our stuff with “Giraffes Can’t Dance” by Giles Andreae & Guy Parker-Rees
  • 17th December – we’ll be playing with “Stick Man” by Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler, just in time for Christmas
