ED LUCAS, NO MOORE, RACHEL MUSSON, STEVE NOBLE
Ed Lucas is co-organiser (with Daniel Kordik) of the Earshots label – their long running trombone and synth duo led to the beginning of the concert series and label. He has had many associations with improvising musicians in London and beyond. http://earshots.org/
NO Moore
NO Moore generally plays electric guitar with effects. Electric guitar has, in the past few years, transcended its 1970s image as the authentic tool of ‘serious’ self-expression, and Moore is interested to contribute to this renewed exploration of what the electric guitar might be. He draws regular inspiration from listening to recordings by Pauline Oliveros, Jimi Hendrix, Sun Ra, Éliane Radigue, Else Marie Pade, Derek Bailey, Maggi Payne, La Monte Young, and Albert Collins. He can be heard on the recent Matchless Recordings release ‘Darkened, yet shone’, as well as releases by the London Experimental Ensemble.
Moore has played live with several great musicians including John Butcher, Rachel Musson, Steve Noble, John Edwards, Alan Wilkinson, Sue Lynch, Crystabel Riley, Rohan de Saram, Phil Durrant, and Steve Beresford. He is a regular collaborator with Eddie Prévost.
