Ethereal World
Led by Rowland Sutherland (flutes) and Jackie Walduck (vibes), Ethereal World is both a music club night and an ensemble featuring outstanding soloists known for their command of free improvisation, cross-cultural jazz, experimental and contemporary classical music.
The genres merge to create something that is ethereal, ecstatic and transcendental, yet deep, provocative, and volatile.
Tonights guests are Ansuman Biswas (percussion and Indian strings); Steve Beresford (piano/electronics).
The ensemble will be Rowland Sutherland (flutes, composer), Jackie Walduck (vibes, composer), Benedict Taylor (viola) and Tom Jackson (clarinets).
