Eusebius Quartet
The Eusebius Quartet returns to the Museum for an evening of music inspired by Child’s Play.
Works include Felix Mendelssohn’s String Quartet in E flat major, composed when he was 14 years old, and Benjamin Britten’s Three Divertimenti for String Quartet. This event forms the subject of a series of workshops to be run by the Quartet in local schools.
Since forming in the autumn of 2015 the Eusebius Quartet have fast gained a reputation for their communicative and imaginative performances. They have appeared at numerous venues including St James’ Piccadilly and Marden House, performed at Fitzrovia’s newest music festival FitzFest and as resident string quartet at the Lewes Chamber Music Festival.
