GO COMPOSE! 2018
Go Compose! is a 3-day composition course for young composers aged 14-19 who are still in full-time education. You will work with professional composers and musicians to create your own original piece of music for flute, viola and cello which will be performed by Red Note Ensemble at the end of the course. You will also receive a recording of your piece.
The project will be led by Linda Buckley and Edwin Hillier, leading contemporary composers in the UK.
Go Compose takes place between Sunday 14 and Tuesday 16 October 2018 at the Barn, Banchory.
It is a challenge to compose a piece in three days so we expect you to commit to the whole project.
