GrandMother
The live a cappella choral performance of GrandMother by award-winning composer and conductor, Esmeralda Conde Ruiz. GrandMother captures the real words and memories of grandmothers of all ages from around the world. Their words will be sung by a massed choir of 60 local female singers inside and outside The Old Church and will be lit by little sun lights by Olafur Eliasson, whose art has been featured in the Tate Modern’s Turbine Hall and the Serpentine Gallery Pavilion.
