Impeka presents Confluence

London-based imprint IMPEKA presents an afternoon dedicated to sonic explorations of the River Thames estuary and North Kent coast line.Sound artists Peter Coyte, Thomas Gardner and Jonas Gustafsson will present and perform a series of individual and collaborative pieces based on fieldwork in the Thames and Medway estuaries and along the coast of Whitstable, Seasalter and Tankerton, focussing on listening, environment, movement and physicality.
The performances will be followed by a discussion and Q&A about listening and perception of place / space with the artists.
