Music of Our Time

For eighteen years, JAM has been committed to commissioning , nurturing and promoting British new music. JAM will kick off its 2018 season on Thursday 22nd March at St Bride’s Church, Fleet Street, London EC4Y 8AU with a sensational line-up, packed with premieres, celebrations and ear-tingling new music.  JAM commissions by Tom Harrold & Stuart Beatch, Voices of Vimy, and Jonathan Dove’s, The Far Theatricals of Day, will be programmed with outstanding works submitted to JAM in its recent nationwide call for music.  Reflecting the quality of composition and giving its audience a sensational experience of new music, the concert will be performed by The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College (Cambridge), Onyx Brass and Simon Hogan (organ), accompanied by Claire Seaton (soprano), TBC (counter-tenor) Ashley Catling (tenor), Dingle Yandell (bass), conducted by Michael Bawtree.
