This trio (cello, alto sax, tenor sax) is made up of three musicians firmly established in the London improvised music scene. As a trio they work as one unit improvising structures that may move through otherworldly, sonic landscapes, touching on contemporary chamber music or play with echoes of free jazz.

Hannah Marshall is a renowned improvising cellist. She began with classical studies, then found inspiration in John Stevens’ book Search & Reflect and has been exploring the outer reaches of cello technique ever since.
