NEW TEETH 2
Bastard Assignments bite into the best of experimental music and interdisciplinary performance with NEW TEETH. This 2016/17 season of four events in unique venues across London will bring some of the most exciting and innovative performances in Europe to London, with intriguing guest artists – both well known and emerging – appearing alongside new work by resident composers Timothy Cape, Edward Henderson, Caitlin Rowley and Josh Spear.
NEW TEETH continues the Bastard Assignments tradition of locating performances in atmospheric sites – this season sees events in a bombed-out church, a nineteenth-century construction access shaft, a basement art gallery and a converted former print works building. These unusual venues contribute a trademark aspect of the immersive, thought-provoking and often humorous events for which Bastard Assignments are known. Combining multiple artforms and media, these performances challenge ideas of what a concert might be.
The four NEW TEETH events are supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, and by PRS for Music Foundation.
