School of Sound International Symposium
The School of Sound International Symposium, a unique event exploring the creative use of sound across the arts and media.
This will be the 12th School, 4 days of masterclasses, talks and presentations all about sound and listening.
This year’s symposium features sessions on film, theatre, documentary, voice, sound art, composition and curating. Speakers include Mychael Danna, Werner Cee, Patsy Rodenburg, Hans Peter Kuhn, Sarah Turner, Hildegard Westerkamp and Julian Henriques.
The audience is made up of practitioners, artists, academics and students, usually about 300 from over 40 countries. So it’s a great opportunity not only to learn but to network.
