PITCH welcomes (a) sound..

A new portable auditorium by Public Works and Michael Speers, built with Bizzie Bodies Arts Club and South London Gallery Art Assassins, hosts sounds of Reveil: a 24+1 hr radio broadcast that follows sunrise around the earth on Dawn Chorus Day.

From 12 noon on SAT 30th April to lunchtime on Sunday 1st May, a programme of workshops, walks, talks and performances will take place in PITCH and across the site:

Acoustic Commons Study Group (Ella Finer, John Bingham-Hall, Bianca Stoppani, Luisa Ulyett, James Wilkes, Flora Pitrolo)

Walk from Lambeth Garden Museum with Carole Wright (Blak Outside)

Alluvial Soundings by Margarida Mendes and Blanc Sceol (Stephen Shiell, Hannah White)

Crystal radio workshop with Hannah Kemp-Welch, Sasha Engelmann, Brigitte Hart and Georgia Muenster (Shortwave Collective)

Speaker building with Nick Sigsworth (Tanum Sound System)

Pinhole photography / solargraphs with Ky Lewis

Bat box building and site walk with Rebeka Clark (Stave Hill, TCV)

Loom weaving with Common Agency Projects (Shane Waltener and Laura Glaser)

Field recording how to with Volkan Kiziltug and Ciara Drew

Bat walk with Iain Boulton (London Bat Group)

Dawn Chorus walks with local naturalists John Cadera and Richard Page-Jones

Sound Camp is free to attend.

Numbers on workshops are limited. Please reserve to let us know and to be sure of a place.

A small number of places is available to camp overnight in the Stave Hill meadow.
