Returning to venues across Aberdeen with a LIVE and in person festival brimming with new music, sound festival presents over 30 World, UK and Scottish premieres over 6 days including Laura Bowler’s Distance; Ailie Robertson’s Unfurl; Luke Styles’ Five Phases Sphere; David Fennessy’s Aberdeen; Tansy Davies’ Grand Mutation for violin, horn and piano and a new work from Pascale Criton.

The festival features the double bass and welcomes Florentin Ginot as artist-in-residence; new works raising awareness of environmental issues; spotlight gigs aimed at giving increased visibility to emerging and/or local composers and performers; family-friendly events; conversations with artists; workshops and more.

A number of events will also be available to watch online throughout the festival.
