Sound Massage – Workshop

Covering topics such as ASMR and triggers, micro-sounds, textures, frequencies and handmade sound massage instrument making. Sound Object Collection, Sound Flow, Holophonic Spatial Awareness, ASMR.

In this unique workshop participants will be creating meditative yet enthralling sonic experience for a single pair of ears. The topics covered are:

SOUND OBJECT COLLECTION – found objects, seeking unique sounds from organic flora and fauna, self made-object instruments and building familiarity with your sound object collection.

SOUND FLOW – transmutation of one sound source into another, liminal states of sound, transition between one sound stage and the next.

HOLOPHONIC SPATIAL AWARENESS – travel of objects as sound transforms, Head-Related Transfer Function (HRTF).

ASMR – Autonomous sensory meridian response of the tingling sensation.
