Spectrum 5, first complete performance

The first complete performance ofSpectrum 5, 15 contemporary pieces for solo piano, will be hosted by the Royal College of Music Junior Department on Saturday 5th November 2016. Performers will be RCMJD students, past and present.

Contributing composers Spectrum 5are Victoria Borisova-Ollas, Philip Cashian, Chen Yi, Michael Finnissy, Cheryl Frances-Hoad, Graham Fitkin, Helen Grime, Gavin Higgins, Gabriel Jackson, Harold Meltzer, Poul Ruders, Timothy Salter, Howard Skempton, Karen Tanaka and Huw Watkins.

The latest in the highly successful Spectrum series, Spectrum 5 was published by ABRSM in September this year, and a recording of all the pieces by series compiler, pianist Thalia Myers, will be available for download from November 5th.
