Spinneret Album Launch – Mandhira de Saram/Benoît Delbecq
Mandhira de Saram and Benoît Delbecq launch their debut album, Spinneret, which is released on the Confront label. The music creates a delicately woven tapestry of sound, rhythm and texture, developing and exploring the combination of violin and prepared piano. It takes both performers and listener through a quietly immersive sonic landscape – something both familiar and yet strangely unsettling. Mandhira and Benoît will be joined by DJ Nick Luscombe, who will open and close the evening.
