Spotify Presents: Getting started, how to get your music out there
Whether you’ve been busy making music during lockdown that you want to release, or you’re thinking ahead to your future and like the sound of working in the music industry, this free workshop is open to anyone aged 18-25.
If lockdown has taught us anything, it’s that it’s vital for artists to be multiskilled when it comes to managing their creative outputs. From building a brand to managing your finances – every artist needs to cultivate a toolkit of expertise.
This Roundhouse Roundtable, hosted in partnership with Spotify, will explore practical topics including the logistics of releasing your music, developing a brand image, building a team and essential conversations around mental health and dealing with set backs.
Whether you’re an artist, manager or producer – all are welcome to join and hear from the team on Spotify.
Experts will draw on their experience, offering practical advice and insider knowledge on the most meaningful topics facing artists today.
This roundtable is part of Round Your House, a digital programme supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, which aims to provide inspiration and creativity for young people while the Roundhouse is closed.
