The Gesualdo Six: Passion and Polyphony
As part of JAM on the Marsh: VIRTUAL festival, The Gesualdo Six present PASSION and POLYPHONY: an exhibition of some of the finest vocal consort works from modern-day composers to renaissance. Contemporary works by Judith Bingham, Owain Park and Alison Willis alongside a World Premiere by British composer, Joanna Ward are juxtaposed with music by Tallis and Gesualdo. The ensemble have become renowned for their stagecraft, and the church of St Leonard’s in Hythe provides a unique canvas for this programme.
