Yorkshire Sound Women Network presents the first of two gigs featuring an eclectic mix of artists from Kirklees and across the North.

Supriya Nagarajan

Supriya will be performing a meditative and relaxing medley of melodies from the South Indian tradition. Early evening notes will mingle with night time sounds as lyrics and notes merge and fill the space.

Hayley Suviste & Lili Holland-Fricke

Synths, voice, clarinet and cello journey together to intriguing new places.

Maddie Morris

Traditional folk meets the contemporary world in the songs of 2019’s BBC Radio 2 Young Folk Award winner.

Jasmine Kennedy

Heartfelt songs combining everyday observations and bittersweet insight from Batley’s answer to Tracy Chapman.

Finishes in time for trains back to Huddersfield/Manchester/Leeds.

Look out for YSWN Presents: Tracks 2 on Saturday 11 November, featuring electronic sounds and synthpop from Dischi, Teresa Winter and Mia Windsor.

Supported by Dewsbury Taking the Lead as part of Kirklees Year of Music. For more information about YSWN visit
