Tse Tse Fly Middle East – LIVE at The Green Rooms Hotel

Arts / activism platform Tse Tse Fly Middle East return to North London this December with a full-scale live night at The Green Rooms Hotel in Wood Green. The event is part of the collective’s ‘Instruments of the State’ project conceived to draw attention to the work of human rights NGOs War On Want and Stop The War, and will take place in the venue’s gorgeous Art Deco gallery.

The evening will feature a curated selection of short experimental films that respond to the project’s themes followed by live performances from Deerful and Joel Cahen. Literature and giveaways from War On Want and Stop The War will be available.

Joel Cahen – abstract electronics from the founder of underwater concert series Wet Sounds. Joel’s work has been exhibited/performed at All Tomorrows Parties, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Tate Britain and more.

Deerful – famed for her lush electropop, for this event Deerful explores the experimental side of her practise, building a unique set of improvised instrumental live coding from scratch.

Entry is £10 on the door. Fully-licensed bar.

Tse Tse Fly Middle East is a registered non-profit organisation with a remit of using live performances and interventions to highlight human rights and freedom of speech issues.
