Twilight Transitions
Join us for a little end-of-summer party at Oval Space where we’ll be sharing two cracking pieces that are full of light and shade, drama and beauty – Beethoven’s 4th Symphony and 20th century Russian composer Shostakovich’s 2nd Piano Concerto.
7pm – Arrive & Unwind
Enter the magical world of Twilight Transitions in a transformed Oval Space, where you’ll greeted by our friendly team. Unwind from the stresses of your week, catch the last rays of summer on the terrace with a cool drink and a tasty bite to eat before getting comfortable for the concert with drink in hand.

8:30pm – The Concert
Nicholas, the conductor, will set the scene with his friendly introductions, sharing some of the stories and ideas behind the music. In an intimate and beautiful setting – on a comfy sofa if you feel like treating yourself and a friend – this is a wonderful opportunity to get close to the full sound of an orchestra.
9:45pm – Mix & Mingle
The party continues… The bar reopens so grab yourself a fresh drink, meet the young and talented players as well as Nicholas and the team, and soak up the live jazz until midnight.
