Two first performances for Dr Robert Howard

On Friday 23rd September Dr Robert Howard will have two first performances as part of a concert in Prescot Parish Church, Church Street, Prescot, L34 3LA.

Prescot Parish Church Musicians in Concert begins at 7pm and features musical performances from singers & instrumentalists on organ, piano, violin & bassoon. The hour-long concert is followed by complimentary wine (or juice) and nibbles in church.

The program includes two first performances from composer Dr Robert Howard.  The first is Four Miniatures (Rocking (Sketch), People in the Wind II, Bread of the World, Fragment II) for solo piano, and performed by the composer. The second is The Little Child for solo voice (David Kernick – tenor) and piano (the composer), setting a poem by Laurie Twinam.
