Unland: Improvised music for flute, violin, electronics and harp
Produced as part of Composer Curator, Sound and Music’s national touring programme, I am very excited to be bringing news of the first of three special concerts this March. Rhodri and Angaharad Davies are joining forces with Richard Craig on flute, to provide leading edge improvised music, here in the heartland of Wales.
Dafydd Roberts will be playing before and with Richard, some sort of electronics and presenting ‘unland’, a semi improvised score loosely based on the distribution of inscribed stones in West Wales. This is our first time playing in Eglwys Padarn, and I hope you will join us afterwards for the ‘artist talk’; it should be a magical evening.
