Using The Sampler

How The Sampler works

The Sampler has a few golden rules:

An event can be anything from radio shows to performances – if our audience is interested in it we should list it. Simple.

If it’s original and new, it belongs here. We embrace innovative, boundary-pushing and eclectic work across and between different genres, and we think curious listeners do as well.

The Sampler seeks to be engaging and useful to any curious listeners, not just new music experts (though those too). So that is why we have developed a user generated ‘tag’ system allowing all types of work to be discovered.

What money can’t buy – we don’t think you can put a price on an experience and sometimes it is unhelpful to do so. So you can’t search our site by ‘price’.

Community driven – we want to showcase voices within the new music community. We are keen to host new content, work with new writers, collaborate on new projects and celebrate others.

So if you have an idea for the site get in touch: hello@thesampler.org
